Rest of the wonderful weekend

Aylin took this super touristy picture of me taking a picture. It was so cold I couldn't take my gloves off.

Well, I can't say I forgot about my promise to post about Sunday after the concert, but I kind of didn't have time or motivation, school has been bringing me down quite a bit. But yesterday this wonderful 15 minutes long recap of the concert was posted and everything was so vivid again so here I go.

Soo. Sunday.

Well, we got back to our hostel quite late on Saturday, took a shower and went to sleep. I think I slept for like... 2-3 hours the most, I was half asleep, but not really and it was so uncomfy and I was again cranky and tired in the morning, not to mention my heart was beating fast again thanks to the lack of sleep. We didn't have any food as well. So while we were getting ready, Catherine sent me a message on twitter, saying she is leaving in a few minutes and me and Ursula ran to the reception to tell her goodbye. Damn it, it was horrible! Like last night, saying goodbye to Madara and Kasia and Anu... I just felt a piece of me gone whenever I needed to say goodbye, argh!

So we tried to take a picture of all of us before the concert while standing in a circle since it was just so freaking cold!

From the left: Maria, Catherine, Ursula, me, Aylin and Gerda in front. Thank you for the picture, Maria! I'm really happy to have one with you as well! :)

One more group shot, again from the left: Anu, Catherine, me, Kasia, Laura, Brenda and Aylin and Ursula are in front. Damn, I wish I had a picture with everyone I met. Especially the ones I only saw very briefly. Well, I have one with Chris, but this was taken when the concert just ended and I look awful. :D

I can't wait to see you all again, really. It is such a great, yet awful, feeling to have friends all over the world. Like I cannot believe I've seen you all! And also, Maria was in our hostel but I didn't even see her in the morning. :( And she is from Macedonia so it's pretty damn far! But let's hope I'll have a chance to see everyone again! (Damn, this makes me so jealous of people who can go to Norway in August. Well, I could possibly go, but then October and Raske Menn would be out of question so no. I mean, I've seen them once already and now iis my chance to see the others as well so... BUT I can possibly meet The Frauds girls, since lovely Stephanie contacted me on twitter and said we just have to meet if there is a possibility! And what's better than to get more friends from so different places and then cry over it later?!)

Also one random question - since when has twitter become such a big part in my life? I'm there at evey possible minute, even though before... December I barely used it! But I have nothing against it, it has been quite amazing, I discovered Sondre, Kaizers Orchestra, Violet Road and also Lawson (shoutout to Elly and Leanne and Ayat and Lyla for them okay!)

Annyway, back to Sweden!

Cold but really lovely! And people were so friendly at stores. And well, everywhere! And spoke great English, too.

I really wish I could go back during the summer and just enjoy it more than I could this time.

On Sunday, we agreed to meet with Aylin already like... 10:30 or 11 at Sergels Torg or near there and have breakfast together. As always, we were a bit late, since we took the wrong exit when leaving the metro. Sounds like us alright.

Me and Aylin had some sort of photo taking contest at one point.

We went to Wayne's cafe and I actually had lasagna and even though I was super hungry, I could barely finish it. It was delicious. And the coffee was great. Then we walked around for a bit, but it was even somewhat colder than on Saturday plus it had started snowing, so it wasn't really that nice, I was frozen! We still had a lot of fun, went into some bookstores and other places on the way, saw some nice buildings and then decided to go to culture house and look around there.

Oh yeah, this was our lovely hostel, I truly recommend you stay there when you go to Stockholm. It's in a nice quiet area.

And it just looks so sweet! Once again, I wish it was summer. The night there cost quite a lot, for me at least, but the location and everything was definitely worth it. It feels like you are on a countryside, even though it's just like 5 minute metro ride from the town center. And even by walking it's not far. Also, random fact, it is amazing to have metro running 24/7!

We saw some people randomly, like Chris and Mimmi and others and I'm still very pissed I didn't talk to them more. :( But well, next time, okay? We stayed there for a while, drank some tea or coffee and just talked.

The culture house had this awesome display of Stockholm and of course I needed to take a picture of Globen. That's where we saw others as well, I have some pictures with Chris and Mimmi on them. :D Kind of accidental-stalkerish much ay?

At some point we decided to get moving, we wanted to go to some store to get some food that we could take on a ferry, our metro ticket was also expired, so we had to walk to the harbour anyway. It was quite a long walk, but weather had somewhat improved and we could actually enjoy the town. It was really nice. Aylin kept her eyes open for Ylvis posters and finally succeeded so we ditched others for a moment to run and get those for ourselves. :'D Mine is really messed up, but I can just say it's SHABBY. Heh heh. Singe should not be allowed to make jokes, like, ever.

Oh man I was so tired but others look nice as always. And cold! How I missed my thick scarf!

We got to the harbour quite early and it was again this awful moment of "I want to talk to you so much but at the same time I don't even know what to say". It always happens when you meet someone for the first time, but feel like you have known them forever. And now I'm somewhat sad again. I'm thinking if I'll ever be walking on the same streets with same people, seeing same things...? Feel the same excitement? Damn, I have this picture in front of my eyes when I'm standing near the entrance 4 at Globen and there are people around me and and and you know? I want  to go back so bad and it has been what, 2 weeks. Why do nice things come to an end? Well, I have something to look forward to, of course, but I still want to go back too!

Our ferry cabin that Gerda decorated out of boredom. It was fun. Everything was fun in conclusion.

Then we said goodbye to Aylin, who was leaving on Monday, and boarded the ferry. Our cabin was on a better spot this time, but at least I was too exhausted to look around. We just went to store to get some water and tea, then just talked and talked some more and finally tried to sleep. I couldn't. Third night in a row, it was a torture. I was sure I was going to die of exhaustion. But at least I had wifi throughout all the journey back. Internet is life, obviously. And I could look at the pictures and videos I took at the concert.

All in all, when I got back to Estonia and was finally home, I still couldn't sleep. But now I'm okay, haven't had any insomniac nights so far, so yay.

But I really just want to say that I'm so grateful for all the people who came to Stockholm and wanted to meet me and did meet me and just had a good time. I don't know, it feels so strange and wonderful and amazing. And also, I'm so happy for discovering Ylvis. I never expected that, but as it seems - unexpected things are the best!

Now I have to focus on other things. Like school Raske Menn.

Soooo... is it time to post a picture of this already? Please hope for me that I can go (and find a way to explain this to my parents :'D).
